In the past few days, more than a thousand students from primary and secondary schools, from 11 different institutes and from several regions of Italy, participated in the concert lessons of the Army band at the Auditorium A. Lacerenza, located inside the Caserma G. Mameli.

The musical program ranged from classical music to pop music, from traditional music to famous soundtracks that have made the history of international cinema, giving students a broader overview of the versatility of the Band.
The main feature of concert lessons is interactivity with students.

The conductor, the vice conductor and the various members of the Band explained the musical repertoire, the characteristics and functioning of the instruments, the role of the band and the importance of collaboration between all the musicians. The students were thus encouraged to intervene and understand the difference between the various sections of the band: wind, brass and percussion.

This initiative aims to promote musical culture in the personal education of children and to strengthen the bond between the school and the institutions and has now become a fixed appointment in the Army band's calendar.

The event represented an important moment of growth and cultural enrichment and an opportunity to introduce young people to the world of the Armed Forces, promoting the values that distinguish it in its daily commitment to serving the country.
