Meeting between Army and INPS

This morning at the headquarters of theNational Institute of Social Security (INPS), the Chief of Staff of the Army (SME), General of the Army Corps Carmine Masiello met with the President of INPS, Prof. Attorney Gabriele Fava. The aim of the meeting between INPS and the Army is to strengthen the collaboration already in place while always remaining close and adherent to the needs of the administered personnel.​​​​

The strong cooperation between National Army Pole established at the INPS and the Armed Forces through the Army National Administrative Center (CNAE), directed by Brigadier General Massimo Ciampi, as the sole interlocutor on pension benefits, is in fact allowing for a uniform application of the current regulations, the same timeframes in processing applications, a streamlining of procedures and greater speed.

During the meeting, and given the importance of the pension issue, the head of SME proposed to the president of INPS to organize a series of conferences for the young members of the Armed Forces to update, inform and raise awareness on the pension sector in general and on the specific one of the Defense sector.

Cooperation with INPS is part of the initiatives that the Army implements to improve the offer and quality of services provided to military and civilian personnel of the Armed Forces, as well as to promote savings in management costs for the administrations involved.
