Army Corps Non-Commissioned Officer, First Lieutenant Michele Romano, made a tour of institutional visits to some departments of the Armed Forces.
Welcomed by the respective commanders of the entities, after having paid homage to the War Flag, the Army non-commissioned officer greeted the personnel, addressing words of thanks and praise for the commitment and professional dedication shown so far and of encouragement so that everyone continues to operate with determination and energy to fulfill their institutional tasks.
First Lieutenant Romano had meaningful meetings with platoon commanders, sergeants and non-commissioned officers, listening to the personnel's problems to understand the needs and challenges they face on a daily basis. He spoke with them about the three pillars indicated by the Army Chief of Staff, to which to refer for the development of all activities involving the Armed Forces: training, technology and values.
The Army non-commissioned officer particularly underlined the importance of the training that every soldier must follow to face the new challenges required of the Armed Forces and recalled the oath taken in front of the tricolour, highlighting the importance of respecting hierarchy and discipline, key elements to guarantee the efficiency and operational readiness of the Italian Army.
The Army Corps NCO is the first point of contact for the Army Chief of Staff. A very important figure as he takes care of aspects related to the esprit de corps, ethics, well-being and morale of the unit, promoting the professional growth of NCOs, graduates and volunteers.
The 184th TLC Support Battalion "Cansiglio" of Treviso is an executive logistics unit at the area level of general support, which carries out maintenance and supply activities of the materials of the Communications and Information Systems - CIS for the benefit of the entities, detachments and departments operating in their own logistics area of jurisdiction and in the operational theatres.
The 33rd EW (Electronic Warfare) Regiment of Treviso has the task of providing, through the use of specific systems and highly specialized personnel, electronic warfare support to units in operations.
The 9th Alpine Regiment of L'Aquila, part of the Alpine Brigade "Taurinense", took part in the most recent operations outside the Italian Army. Of note is the participation in the operation Enduring Freedom, known as the "Nibbio Contingent" for which the regiment received the Knight's Cross of the Military Order of Italy.
The 45th Transmission Battalion is part of the 46th Transmission Regiment and is based at the "Raffaele Libroia" barracks in Nocera Inferiore. It is organized to manage the transmissions of the infrastructure network.
