Il Military Combat Method (MCM) has proven to be a fundamental tool both in international missions and within the operation Safe Roads. In fact, hundreds of interventions have been carried out by applying this method of defense and combat by the Army soldiers during surveillance and safeguarding the safety of citizens throughout the national territory.
The engine and nerve center of the MCM is in Pisa at the parachuting training center (CAPAR) of the "Folgore" parachute brigade where the MCM instructors operate, responsible for the development and continuous updating of combat methodologies and the training of military personnel. The coveted MCM Instructor qualification enables you to teach the discipline to all Armed Forces personnel.
Il Military Combat Method it is an integral part of the military's individual combat training and is a "live" methodology, in continuous evolution, which periodically incorporates new techniques to increase its operational effectiveness. All Army soldiers must have passed a basic MCM course as a prerequisite for operational use.
MCM is based on close-range combat, incorporating techniques borrowed from other military combat methods of other Armed Forces, from martial arts and combat sports.
The innovations are the result of real use experiences, acquired by Army personnel employed in operational theaters, as part of Operation Safe Roads but also from exchanges of experiences with the most important NATO and non-NATO Armies. These aspects guarantee the Armed Forces undisputed leadership in the field of individual combat training, including at an international level.
Particular attention is paid to effectiveness, simplicity of use and speed of learning with respect to the aesthetics of the movements, in compliance with the concept of “Take what is useful and leave out what is not needed”. MCM is essential when there are no safety conditions or the possibility of using firearms.
Il Military Combat Method it is designed to allow the fully equipped soldier to survive on the battlefield, even without the use of firearms, it provides complete training which combines typical combat techniques with lessons on trauma and the psychology of the fighter.
The Level 1 instructor course is spread over 7 weeks of training which include day and night activities set in various operational scenarios and includes various selective and barrage moments.
