In recent days, the Chief of Staff of the Army, Army Corps General Pietro Serino, paid a visit to the Armed Forces offices stationed in the city of Palermo.

In the departments visited, General Serino received updates on operational and training activities and met the personnel in service, emphasizing that: "there is never a shortage of things to do because Sicily is also a borderland between Europe and the African continent and, like all borderlands, it is a place of wealth, because where cultures meet, there is wealth, but also of commitment, sacrifice and necessity. The differences that exist are overcome and transformed from vulnerability into opportunity”.
