The operation is aimed at the reconstruction of those armed forces, as well as the formation of North-African land forces. To this end, the Italian army has prepared a series of training activities to be held in some training institutions, which includes a period of training of 10 weeks in the military district of Persano (SA), where the Libyan soldiers will deepen the knowledge acquired at the level of the platoon during the basic training held at the 80 ° RAV of Cassino.
In this framework will be inserted the services provided by the EI-ACISMOM military personnel, who will be employed at the base of Persano with a weekly shift two basic medical officers and a dentist, who will alternate for about two years.
The first deployment is scheduled between May and June. The bell component of the 3 ° department of the military body EI-ACISMOM is already engaged in various activities in support of the armed force and the collaboration within the Coorte operation is further evidence of the close relationship between the various regional military realities and the staff of the 3 ° department.
