Yesterday morning, 5 November, at the “T. Fabbri ”of Viterbo, the commander of the General Brigade Air Force Paolo Riccò, welcomed the Chief of Defense of Qatar, General Ghanim Shaheen Al-Ghanim, who arrived in Viterbo to get to know the reality he sees involved his men on a training and training course on UH-90 helicopters.
The Army Aviation, as part of international agreements between Italy and Qatar, contributes to the training of flight crews and maintenance support personnel of the UH-90 A line of the Armed Forces of Qatar and yesterday's visit represented a way to retrace, together with the blue Basques of the Specialty, what has been done during this first year of work together.
General Ghanim Shaheen Al-Ghanim, after attending an illustrative briefing on the activities carried out, moved into the hangar of the "Nemo" Task Group, where he could see up close the UH-90 helicopter used in training.
With the signing of the register of honor and the exchange between the commanders of the respective heraldic coats of arms, the visit ended thus confirming the satisfaction for the excellent result that this project is obtaining, thanks to the commitment and collaboration between the Army Aviation and the Qatari Emiri Air Force.
