In recent days it was held at the barracks "F. Trizio”, seat of the command of the 7th Bersaglieri regiment, the greeting ceremony of the department leaving for use in the context of the operation enhanced Vigilance Activity (eVA) in Bulgaria.
The bersaglieri of the Settimo, at the end of the preparation, preparatory to the fulfillment of the mission entrusted to the Italian contingent, greeted the family members and the authorities of the municipalities of Altamura, Poggiorsini, Bovino, Acquaviva delle fonti and Gravina and a delegation of thenational bersaglieri association.
During the ceremony, the commander of the "Pinerolo" brigade, General Paolo Sandri, thanked the military relatives for the support they provide every day, praising the work of all the bersaglieri of the 7th regiment for the commitment and professionalism shown in these months of preparation.
Italy, with the employment of about 750 men and women of the Army, will continue to hold the role of Framework Nation, or the leadership of the mission which sees the involvement of other contingents of the Atlantic Alliance.
