The oath ceremonies for the initial volunteers of the 235st block of 85 were held in recent days at the 1th and 2024th volunteer training regiments at the end of an intense training course. The jurors, in front of their War Flags and their families, raised their arms, solemnly committing themselves to the Italian Republic.
Women and men who, having arrived from the civilian world no more than two months ago, have become aware of becoming an all-round part of military life, from being subject to military discipline, to formal training and knowledge of weapons and equipment. to the Armed Forces. Above all in their proud faces, the awareness of having become part of a family that continuously serves the Republic in every part of the world to protect its Constitution and laws.
The commander of the Army's Training, Specialization and Doctrine, Army Corps General Carlo Lamanna, said during his speech: “Be proud of this path you are on and don't give in to the effort, there is no victory without effort and defeat, every defeat is a precursor to subsequent victories and success”.
In the next few days, the Volunteers will reach the Weapon Specialization Schools, in order to be able to apply what they have learned and deepen their knowledge of the increasingly digitalized means and systems of the Italian Army.
