Army athletes stand up in the national championships

Important national results achieved at the Italian fencing, diving, modern pentathlon and athletics championships, held respectively in Udine, Rome-Campagnano, Trieste and Ancona.

At the "Ovidio Bernes" Altarpiece in Udine, Caporal Maggiore Martina Criscio won the title of young Italian fencing champion, in the saber specialty, while in the capital and the outskirts of Rome, Caporal Major Chosen Lavinia Bonessio and Caporale Valerio Grasselli, conquered both the silver medal at the modern national pentathlon open, respectively in the senior and junior category.

In Trieste instead, the Diving Section of the Army Sports Center, brings home a loot of gold 1, silver 1 and 3 bronzes. A graduate Italian champion was the First Caporal Major Noemi Batki on the platform from 10 mt, while the silver arrived from Caporal Maggiore Giovanni Tocci in the 3 mt trampoline, the latter also author of a bronze in the trampoline from 1 mt.I remaining bronzes instead, went to Caporal Major Elena Bertocchi, in the 1 and 3 springboard mt.

In the junior national championship and promises of athletics, held in Ancona, the Caporal Maggiore Irene Baldessari, wins the gold medal, both in the 800 test and in the 1500 one, while Caporale Ekeh Udochi, in his debut with the colors of the Army, gets the bronze medal in the 60 mt plan competition.

In Florence, on the occasion of the 1 ^ qualifying test of the A1 gymnastics championship, the Caporal Major Elisabetta Preziosa and the Corporal Giorgia Campana, are placed, respectively, at 1 ° and 3 ° place, in the specialty of the beam.
