Army bomb squad safely remove an aircraft bomb

The Army bomb squad effective at the 32nd regiment of sappers of the Alpine brigade Taurinense they intervened in Genoa, at the request of the prefecture, following the discovery of a 30-pound incendiary aircraft bomb dating back to the Second World War.

The CMD (Conventional Munition Disposal) operators, specialized in this type of intervention, secured the device and contributed to the restoration of normality.

The bomb was sealed by applying a plaster bandage and was transported to a quarry in the Genoese area to await destruction.​
