The Solemn Oath ceremony of the students of the "Fadini III" course took place at the Arco della Pace in Milan, in the presence of the Army Chief of Staff, Army Corps General Pietro Serino, the commander for training , specialization and doctrine of the Army, army corps general Carlo Lamanna and civil and religious authorities of the area, including the prefect Vicar, dr. Natalino Domenico Manno, the president of the municipal council, Elena Buscemi and the regional councilor for safety and civil protection, Romano La Russa.

At the end of the speech by Colonel Gianluigi D'Ambrosio, commander of the School and in front of the Institute Flag, decorated with the Army's Bronze Medal of Valor, the 73 students of the "Teulié" Military School responded in unison with a convinced and thunderous "I swear!", to the usual ritual formula.

General Serino, addressing the young jurors underlined: “Today you have sworn allegiance to the Republic and have become fully part of the great family of the Italian Army. We are a family because we share Values and Traditions for which we are ready to fight. I wish that when you look back on your Oath over the years, you will remember the four travel companions that you have solemnly and publicly chosen: Constitution, Liberty, Homeland and Republic, who will guide you in the life of responsible citizens".

The participation of the students' families was warm and numerous, who came from all over Italy excited and proud of the goal achieved by their respective children at the School. Lastly, there was a passionate and festive presence with consequent parade in the queue of the armed departments of the numerous former students of the Institute who, as per tradition, gathered and huddled around the younger "brothers" who frequented them.

The "Teulié" is one of the two Military Schools of the Army which can be accessed through a public competition whose annual announcement is imminently issued. It offers classical and scientific high school students the opportunity to attend the three-year period of study guaranteeing in-depth scholastic preparation in line with the educational programs provided by the MIUR and, in adherence to its mission, it also takes care of their physical and moral training throughout life in boarding school, focused on respecting the rules established by the military code of conduct.
In addition, starting this year, the “Applied Sciences” course will be introduced in the scientific high school in the forthcoming announcement, which provides for an increase in computer science and natural sciences.
