In recent days, at the regiments training volunteers - the 17th of Capua, the 80th of Cassino, the 85th of Montorio Veronese and the 235th of Ascoli Piceno - 625 young people from the 3rd bracket 1st block 2020 arrived, for the attendance of the basic course for Volunteers in fixed farm one year (VFP1).
The influx procedures, which began last Monday, were divided into several days, in order to guarantee the safety of personnel and the correct distancing provided for by the health protocols issued on the subject of combating and containing the COVID-19 epidemic.
In the next six weeks, the new volunteers will be involved in the attendance of the training course, during which they will follow theoretical lessons and carry out practical activities: from learning the principles and ethical values, the sense of discipline and the rules that regulate military organization until the achievement of adequate physical preparation and the necessary skills for the use of individual armament and equipment supplied.
The young soldiers, at the end of the course, will be assigned to the various Army Units, located throughout the national territory.
