The plaque, donated to the command of the Folgore division by the veterans of El Alamein on the twentieth anniversary of the battle, was found at Villa Margherita by the same general of division Coppola who wanted to pay homage to the Folgore Brigade today.
During the ceremony, which was attended by the president of the National Association of Italian Paratroopers General Fantini and the commander of the second mobile brigade general Sebastiano Comitini, the commander of the General Thunderbolt Lorenzo D'Addario was emphasized the the importance that the men and women of the Thunderbolt have always placed in respecting the traditions and their own history as well as an occasion to highlight once again the profound relationships of mutual esteem that have always existed between the paratroopers and the colleagues of the Carabinieri.
