The men and women of the regiment, commanded by Colonel Nicola Gorgoglione, wanted to honor the heroic deeds of the III and the 5th M13 / 40 tank battalion, which in that very distant 8 February saw their brief but glorious epic end with the destruction of their last chariot near the enemy command post during the battle of Beda Fomm.
The simple but intense ceremony saw the companies that bear the names of the places of Africa lined up alongside the glorious banner of the regiment, where the 32 ° tanks wrote epic pages of history.
