Army: Controlled Breathing exercise concluded

A week of training dedicated to precision shooting in the mountains ended in Pian dell'Alpe, in Val Chisone, in which over 80 snipers belonging to various Army brigades took part, together with personnel from the State Police, from the Guardia di Finanza and allied armies. In addition, there were observers from the NATO Mountain Warfare Center of Excellence, from Royal Commando Training Centre of the British Navy.

The exercise, called "Controlled Breathing 2023" and led at over 2000 meters above sea level by the 3rd Alpine regiment of the brigade Taurinense, led the specialists to cooperate in a productive exchange of technical and tactical knowledge related to day and night precision shooting up to 1000m range.

The program also included operational shooting exercises and mountain warfare activities, to train snipers in close defense and increase their mobility in a mountain environment. In addition, specific training was conducted for operations in urban contexts, carried out within the military district of Baudenasca.
