With the continuous exercise conducted at the training areas of the 3rd Alpine Regiment of the "Taurinense" brigade, held in the presence of Division General Davide Scalabrin, commander of the Modena military institute, the period dedicated to integrated practical technical military training between the officers attending the various Armed Forces and those belonging to the medical corps of the Military Academy has concluded.

The exercise, included in the activity "Una Acies 2024", planned for the training institutes, saw all the student officers of the Institute as protagonists in the conduct of training modules with a high technical-professional connotation and useful for achieving the training objective set for the respective year of the course. In particular, at the training areas of Oulx and Baudenasca, the officers of the 204th "Volontà" course, under the expert guidance of instructors of the 3rd Alpine Regiment and other departments of the "Taurinense" Alpine Brigade, had the opportunity to deepen and consolidate the technical-tactical procedures typical of the use of platoon-level units in particular situations, such as combat in mountain environments and in highly urbanized areas.

The presence of the medical corps officers further enriches this phase of the training path which, thanks to the training in the specific health sector, has contributed to creating an integrated training system that is extremely real and adherent to the scenarios of possible employment of future commanders. In particular, the professional skills acquired thanks to an "integrative teaching" and subsequently put into practice by the officers during the exercise have allowed for the optimal management of the medical evacuations towards a Role 2 Forward - set up by the 1st health department of Turin - coordinated by the PECC cell (Patient Evacuation Coordination Cell) and carried out through the use of tactical means and aircraft with relative stabilization on board of the injured, underlining the importance of a professional path characterized by numerous specific courses useful for the training of the military doctor.
