The "Val Tagliamento 2022" exercise organized and conducted by the 8th Alpine regiment, with the participation of units of the Alpine brigade, ended in recent days Julia from the regiment Piedmont Cavalry (2nd) and the 3rd Land Artillery Regiment.
The activity had the aim of integrating the capabilities of the Alpine light infantry forces with artillery and cavalry units within a high intensity scenario.
The final event saw the 8th Alpine Regiment as the protagonist conducting an offensive tactical activity, articulated in several phases, aimed at neutralizing the enemy units.
At the end of the activities, the commander of the Alpine troops, general of the army corps Ignazio Gamba, underlining the excellent results achieved, underlined how interoperability and training are an indissoluble union to keep up with the times and to deal with success the future challenges.
