Started last 7 July, in the "Montefinale" barracks of Bracciano, headquarters of the artillery command, with the aid of modern systems supplied to the center for simulation and validation of the army, the exercise has set itself the purpose of refining and consolidate the procedures inherent in the use of planning decision-making (PDP) and assess the general capacity of the "Pinerolo" command staff and the command posts of the regiments in the management of complex operating situations.
The scenario was marked by the maximum realism with frequent situations in southern Lebanon where the Italian contingent on the brigade "Pinerolo" under the orders of Brigadier General Stefano Del Col is preparing to operate under the UNIFIL mission (United Nation Interim Force in Lebanon).
