The training path of the student marshals of the XXVII course "Volontà" continues, engaged in a night exercise, dedicated to the training of the individual fighter and the team commander.
The activity was structured to consolidate and develop the technical and professional skills essential for conducting operations at infantry squad level. The students faced orientation and navigation tests on the ground, applying the topographical knowledge acquired so far, and perfected the radio communication procedures to ensure effective operational coordination. Furthermore, they studied dismounted movement and stationing phases, paying particular attention to identifying the most suitable area for overnight stays and the creation of a tactical bivouac. The activity was carried out in conditions of increasing complexity, testing their ability to adapt to the variables of the terrain and to operate effectively under stress.
This experience is part of the broader training program for first-year students, aimed at providing future Italian Army marshals with the skills needed to face the role of platoon commander with professionalism and determination.
