The “CARNIA 2024” exercise concluded a few days ago, which saw 150 soldiers from the 1st transmission regiment employed for approximately two weeks, deployed in a camp set up in the Venzone (UD) area.
The aim of the exercise was to increase, within the framework of the activities developed by the support brigade in favour of NRDC-ITA as component command of Allied Reaction Force in the three-year period 2024-2027, the level of readiness of the personnel, raising the individual capabilities of the soldier in a non-permissive and detailed environment.
New types of 4/5G routers have also been deployed and tested, which allow the use of normal cellular telephone networks for the transport of data/voice services as alternative solutions for accessing EINET network services through your own call manager deployed in a stationary location.
In addition, voice/data connections have been created in Land Mobile Radio, tactical-satellite (TACSAT) and satellite with the stationary operations room and with the trained units, which allowed to monitor, in a widespread and accurate manner, in digital and analogue mode, the deployment/redeployment phases of the personnel involved in the activities.
