Exercise “ARES 2/25” for the 132nd Tank Regiment

(To Army Majority State)
11/04/25

A unit of the 132nd Tank Regiment conducted a live-fire exercise called “Ares 2/25” at the Cellina-Meduna shooting range in recent days.

For the young tank crew members newly assigned to the unit, the activity represented an important objective in the training path that comes at the end of two intense weeks of training, during which virtual activities were also carried out, with the use of the VBS3 simulation system, “blank” training, and a continuous night-time phase to train the tank crews on the difficulties of operating in a more treacherous and uncertain environment.

The exercise is an important milestone in the period dedicated to training for NATO's rapid response capability “Tier 2”, which will see the tank units further engaged in future training events.
