The Eagle Joker 14 exercise, which involves numerous bodies, commands and units of the armed forces, is aimed at ascertaining the ability of NRDC-ITA to autonomously manage naval and air forces in operations, to interact effectively with non-militant actors present in crisis areas and to develop and apply recently introduced concepts, such as Cyber Defense, defense against cyber threats.

Only three of the nine rapid reaction corps commands present in Europe were chosen for this evolution, which - once completed - will allow the NRDC-ITA to confirm itself as a fundamental resource for the country and, as the headquarters of projection with command and control capabilities for the Atlantic Alliance.
