It ended at the Joint Defense Force School NBC, the 20th international “Operational Sampling Course” dedicated to the operational sampling of CBR substances (Chemical, Biological, Radiological).
The course, which lasted two weeks, had the purpose of training the attending staff in identifying, reporting, collecting, securing and preparing for the transport of substances of suspected CBR nature.
In particular, the teachers and instructors of the NBC School allowed the students (Italians, Hungarians, Dutch and Austrians) to acquire the skills necessary to use the instrumentation and peculiar materials necessary to treat a possible toxic contaminant in liquid, solid or gaseous form. , released following a deliberate action or accidental event.
The course, held in English and intended exclusively for personnel already in possession of advanced capabilities in the field of CBR defense, is held in compliance with the provisions of the NATO doctrine in the delicate sector of contrasting proliferation and disarmament from Weapons of Mass Destruction. .
