Tactical Pre-Hospital Rescue Course

(To Army Majority State)
01/03/21

The 3rd edition of the course ended in recent days Tactical Pre-hospital Aid (SPOT) at the School of Health and Military Veterinary in Rome.

The SPOT course, intended for doctors and nurses, lasting 2 weeks, included theoretical-practical training courses of particular interest for their imminent use in Operational Theaters (up to level Role 1).
The course, despite the current pandemic context, could not ignore the need for conduct in the presence of training activities, given its strong practical connotation.

The activities that involved the aforementioned health professionals include: a theoretical-practical module dedicated to pre-hospital emergencies, in compliance with the most recent guidelines, and a multidisciplinary module that included scientific updating, simulation of medical evacuation ( in collaboration with the Army Aviation Command) and simulation of events Mass Casualty in pre-hospital settings.

Lectio magistralis were also conducted thanks to the collaboration of top management and reference bodies such as Interoperable Summit Operations Command and Joint Intelligence Center.

The continuous updating of doctors and nurses has always been a crucial point for the School of Health and Veterinary, especially to guarantee those quality standards required for health support in operations.
