Delivery of the Sword at the XXVII “Volontà” course

It took place in the presence of the commander of the Officers' School of the Army, division general Maurizio Taffuri, and some family members and representatives of local institutions, the ceremony of delivery of the sword to the marshal students of the XXVII "Volontà" course.​​​​

The chosen regimental leader pronounced the traditional formula that sanctions the twinning between the courses, handing over the sword to the representative of the Cappellone course while shouting "Good luck".​​​​

Division General Maurizio Taffuri recalled the moral value that the delivery of the sword represents and encouraged the students of the XXVII course, who will soon swear loyalty to the Fatherland, to continue on the path undertaken, proud of the choice made, honoring the trust offered and encouraged the "elders" to continue to set an example.​​​​

The commander of the cadet regiment, Colonel Ivan Falasca, underlined the importance of the transfer of values ​​that are identified with the stars sewn on the lapel of the uniform.​​​​

The Institute's non-commissioned officer, MAVM lieutenant Giampiero Monti, reiterated his pride in seeing young students grow and mature within the walls of the Non-Commissioned Officers School, an emotion that is repeated every year but is always as strong as the first time.​​​​

The ceremony marked the twinning between the courses of the marshal students, a passing of the baton between the elders and the hats which symbolically represents the transmission of values ​​and traditions which animate the life of the Officers' School of the Army.​​​​
