It took place yesterday at the Officers' School of the Army, the sword delivery ceremony at the XXV "Duty" course.

The first year students lined up on the flag-raising square in front of the "senior" colleagues of the XXIV "Loyalty" course to receive the small sword, symbol of the Institute's traditions, which officially consecrates them pupil marshals.

Major General Alberto Vezzoli, commander of the Officers' School of the Army, thus addressed the young students “You are wearing this uniform for the first time, I am sure you will experience strong sensations and that you will finally feel part of this school. Take your elders as an example, entrust yourself to them, trust them, to learn and in turn transmit the same values to those who will come after you and in the future to the men and women who will be entrusted to you. Good luck XXV course”.

Today's ceremony decrees the twinning between the student marshal courses, a passing of the baton between the elderly and the big hats, which ideally represents the transfer of the values and traditions that animate the young visitors of the Officers' School Army.
