The "San Martino 23" exercise, organized by the 5th "Aosta" infantry regiment, ended at the Tor di Nebbia Apulian range.
The exercise was conceived with the aim of enabling the smaller complexes to plan and conduct offensive, defensive and enabling tactical activities, aimed at increasing combat capabilities, carrying out tactical actions in open fire at rifle platoon level and an exercise at a complex level, minor multiple weapons fired in the conduct of mobile defense.
The 5th "Aosta" infantry regiment has completed, with a mortar shooting school, the specialization course for enlisted soldiers with mortar duties, employed in the departments of the southern operational forces, carried out under the supervision of the verification and evaluation unit of the Infantry school of Cesano of Rome.
