“Laran 2022” exercise concluded

The "Laran 2022" exercise conducted by the 9th Alpine regiment, jointly with other units of the Alpine brigade, has ended Taurinense, supported by Army Aviation helicopters, assets of tactical information brigade, 11th Broadcast Regiment and 7th CBRN Defense Regiment.

The complex fire training activities were conducted with the aim of consolidating the units' ability to operate in close coordination, day and night, with a particular focus on maneuvering ability.

The exercise gave way to all the units involved to operate in a challenging context in many respects, starting from the construction of the field, by the "Taurinense" logistic regiment, passing through the movement in a highly rugged terrain such as that of Tuscia, arriving at the coordination of the maneuver of infantry, cavalry, artillery, engineering and combat support units in the daytime and nighttime phases.

Present at "Laran 2022": the commander of the Alpine troops, general of the army corps Ignazio Gamba and the commander of the "Taurinense" alpine brigade, general of brigade Nicola Piasente.
