The multinational exercise "Dragoon Ready 2023", at the training base of Hohenfels in Germany, in which the Italian Army participated with the 4th tank regiment C1, ended in recent days Ram.
The exercise was aimed at testing combat capabilities, verifying the interoperability of communication systems between the forces of the participating allied countries in a simulated operational environment.
The Italian tank unit worked together with an infantry platoon, a mortar section and an engineering team for battlefield work and installation of obstacles provided by the 2nd US cavalry regiment, in which the tankmen of the "Garibaldi" were framed.
The training activities saw the units first engaged in the planning phase and, subsequently, in the conduct phase, which developed through a continuous exercise lasting about 10 days.
