Montebello Lancers Concert

Big audience and strong emotions, last night in Santa Croce for 2014 Night Effect. The evening, presented by Colonel Jean Marie Moyersoen and presenter Silvia Roberto, began with the performance of the fanfare riding the Lancieri di Montebello regiment, commanded by the sergeant major Sergeant Salvatore Pinci.

The concert began with the ordinance march of the Lancieri di Montebello regiment, and then continued with the ordinance marches of the other regiments: Cavalleggeri di Monferrato and Savoia Cavalleria. The fanfare then played other famous songs such as La bella Gigogin, The soldier in love, Monte Grappa, Il Piave, the national anthem, and at the end she performed in "March of Prince Eugene", the ordinance march of the weapon of cavalry. At the end, a commemorative plaque of the evening was given to the leader of the party.

Many military authorities in the stalls to attend the concert: the commander of the Sardinian grenadiers brigade, general Maurizio Riccò, the commander of the Montebello Lancers detachment, colonel Paolo Lorenzi, the director of the historical infantry museum, colonel Rino Postiglioni, the director historical museum of the grenadiers, lieutenant colonel Bruno Camarota and the commander of the mounted squadrons group and the brass band of the Montebello Lancers, lieutenant colonel Emanuele Patalano. 

The evening continued on the stage of the garden of the historical museum of the infantry, in front of the suggestive scenery of the vault of the Temple of Venus and Cupid, with "The songs of the first world war" with the voice of Graziella Antonucci accompanied by the guitar of Marco Quintiliani.
