CaSTA 2014: finished the third day of races

The races between the patrols have reshuffled the rankings, awarding gold points for the final victory. Under a heavy snowfall the Chief Marshal Franco Pittin won the title of Italian military giant slalom Champion, while the competition between the patrols was dominated by the Alpine Training Center of Aosta that preceded the Alpine paratroopers.

Under the snow that continues to fall uninterruptedly, the patrol and giant slalom races valid for the awarding of the Friendship Trophies, Joint Forces and Alpine Gold Medals were held yesterday morning. Among the patrols the fastest team was that of the Alpine Training Center which passed the test with the total time of 1 now, 19 minutes and 28 seconds; in second place were the Alpine paratroopers who preceded the 87 ° Regiment team by just 5 seconds, penalized by a reduced shooting accuracy.
