Attending the activity, the commander of the artillery artillery, Brigadier General Cesare Alimenti.

The important activity made it possible to test the level of integration of the Italian interoperable anti-aircraft systems within NATO and specifically with the French air forces, through the use of the "11 B link".

On the main day of the 20 May, the batteries of the 4 ° "Peschiera" regiment performed a fire exercise in coordination with the French assets on a "Jet Bashee" radio target.

The exercise was successfully completed and the aircraft was hired at 30 Km away and at an altitude of 2000 meters.

Today, thanks to the capabilities of the SAMP / T missile system, the Italian airborne artillery is able to ensure a defense against ballistic missiles and represents a milestone in Europe in the context of integrated air defense.
