26/10/21

It took place this morning, in the presence of the Army Training, Specialization and Doctrine commander, general of the army corps Salvatore Camporeale, of numerous military and civil authorities, of the Labari of the Combat Associations of Arms and of the Banners of the City and of the Province of Viterbo, the change ceremony of the commander of the Army Non-Commissioned Officers School.

Brigadier General Stefano Scanu passed the baton to Brigadier General Alberto Vezzoli, entrusting him with the Institute Flag, decorated with a Bronze Medal for Army Valor and a Silver Medal for Civil Merit, after having pronounced the formula of recognition.

An intense year was spent by General Scanu at the head of the Institute, strongly conditioned by the health emergency, but full of satisfactions that he himself wanted to remember as follows: “In this year we have tried to complete all the tasks that have been assigned to us, trying to do it to the best of our ability. The certificates of appreciation and esteem, paid to the School, its students and its marshals, are tangible evidence of the level of excellence of the skills and professionalism that this Institute is able to express ".

The general of the army corps Camporeale in thanking General Scanu for the excellent work carried out and in wishing good work to General Vezzoli for the delicate task assumed, underlined how: “Training a commander is not a simple process to carry out, on the contrary, it is probably the most complex task that can be entrusted to us. A training - that of the commander - which, today more than before, requires greater attention and commitment, in order to be ready to face the growing complexity of crisis scenarios, in a context in which the interaction between the evolution of technology and the military instrument is not a choice, but a real necessity. "

General Scanu is expected in Cagliari, where he will fill the role of top of the Army Military Command of Sardinia.
