On Friday 14 October, Major General Claudio Minghetti left the command of the Simulation and Validation Center of the Army (Ce.Si.Va.) to Major General Fabio Polli.
The rotation ceremony was held in the presence of the commander of the Earth operational forces and operational command of the Army (COMFOTER-COE), general of the army corps Giovanni Fungo, of all military and civil personnel serving at the "Giorgi" barracks in Civitavecchia and of all the most important civil and religious authorities in the area .
Upon his arrival at Ce.Si.Va., General Fungo, after having received the honors of the honor guard and having greeted the Institute Flag, presided over the ceremony as the highest military authority.
General Minghetti took the floor to thank all the staff of the Center for the significant and professional contribution given in his more than three years of command. Afterwards, the outgoing commander read the traditional formula of recognition of the new commander and handed the Institute Flag into the hands of General Polli who thus formally assumed command of the Center.
The ceremony then continued with a brief intervention by the commander of the COMFOTER-COE who, after highlighting the high professional profile of the two general officers, expressed his best wishes to the new commander for the new and prestigious assignment and to the commander transferring the better fortunes for the important responsibility that he will soon take on at the Southern operational forces command.
The day ended with the signing of the Roll of Honor in the premises of the Historical Museum of Ce.Si.Va .. Major General Fabio Polli arrives at Simulation and Validation Center of the Army after having held the position of Chief of Staff of the NATO Rapid Deployment Corps-ITA of Solbiate Olona.
