The handover ceremony of the Army Special Forces (COMFOSE) between Brigadier General Andrea Vicari and Brigadier General Marco Manzone took place at the military complex of San Piero a Grado (Pisa), presided over by Lieutenant General Salvatore Cuoci, deputy commander and operational commander of the Army Special Forces Command. Terrestrial Operations (COMFOTER), in the presence of civil and military authorities.
In his farewell speech, General Vicari thanked the personnel for their commitment and determination in all activities during his year of command, with particular reference to out-of-area operations and national contingency plans.
The ceremony was concluded by General Salvatore Cuoci with words of appreciation for the extraordinary work that all the units included in COMFOSE carry out daily both in the service of the Special Forces sector and in cooperation with other Army units.
