Changeover of the non-commissioned officer of the Army general staff

The rotation ceremony of the non-commissioned officer of the Army General Staff took place at the Central Military Library of the Army Palace in Rome, in the presence of the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, General of the Army Salvatore Camporeale. The first Tramat lieutenant Giuseppe Carvelli was replaced by the Bersagliere peer Maurizio Redivo.

First lieutenant Giuseppe Carvelli, who leaves active service in the Army after 43 years, in his speech thanked everyone, including the previous sub-chiefs of SME, army corps generals Claudio Mora, Giovanni Fungo and Gaetano Zauner, for their trust granted to him, highlighting: “Today I leave the position of non-commissioned officer of the corps, assumed in 2018, with great emotion, a position that requires constant commitment, maximum dedication, availability, dialogue and listening to gain everyone's trust and esteem.”

Army Corps General Salvatore Camporeale, in his greeting speech, thanked first lieutenant Giuseppe Carvelli for the excellent work done and wished first lieutenant Maurizio Redivo the best of luck for his new role, underlining the importance of figure of the corps non-commissioned officer as a "precious resource" for all aspects connected with the ethics, well-being, morale and disciplinary profile of the personnel.

The first lieutenant Maurizio Redivo, who takes on the new role, comes from the III general planning department of the Army general staff.
