As every year, the "Nunziatella" Military School of Naples, the Army training institute, allows itself a short break from teaching activities; the students put on their historical uniforms to put on the combat suit and put into practice what they have learned in the course of weapons and shooting lessons, individual combat training and topography.
The students of the 1st company, belonging to the 233rd course, have reached the Cesano Infantry School, where they will be able to familiarize themselves with the use of the assault rifle supplied, AR 70-90, starting to carry out the first lessons shooting, in addition to the first topographic marches, putting into practice the first rudiments of patrol movements. Specifically, in recent days they have tried their hand at the use of the compass and topographic map, in tactical marches for platoons.
The students of the 2nd company, who attended the 232nd course, were instead welcomed at the district of Persano (SA), and have already carried out the first firing activities with portable weapons, climbing exercises at the daring tower, amphibious training with "land grab" with the help of small boats, made available by the "Cavalleggeri Guide" regiment (19th).
The training activities carried out in recent days constitute an unavoidable formative moment for the students of the Military School and, at the same time, contribute to creating a spirit of body, the indissoluble glue of every military unit and a unique feeling that will bind the students together. once the high school experience at the Military School is over.
