More than 400 drivers are trained and almost 300 new driving licenses and driving licenses are issued during the year by the instructor staff of the 6th Alpini regiment. An important result that, thanks to the intense work and zeal of the driving instructors of the department, has allowed us to meet the numerous training and operational commitments carried out mainly by the Alpine Army Troops. An effort without interruption that, in the many internal courses, has also flanked multiple specific training activities for other Armed Forces Bodies, delegations of foreign armies and Civil Protection, present throughout the year at the innovative "off road" driving circuit of the Alpine Troops, appreciated reality realized in Val Pusteria and in continuous implementation phase both for the training stations and for the possibilities offered.

In particular, the specific attention in favor of the Alpini in force in the regiment, the Army's elite unit for the conduct of 360 ° activities in extreme contexts characterized by verticality and articity (mountain environment in difficult climatic conditions), was concentrated on the training of younger personnel (VFP1) who have been taught to know and make the most of the characteristics and potential of the vehicles supplied in both summer and winter contexts, with particular reference to the behavior to be adopted in the event of emergencies. What was learned was then put into practice both in the daily activities of the regiment and in the operational ones, above all the "Safe Roads" operation which saw the 6th Alpini engaged in Bolzano, Rome and Como, where knowing how to employ a the duty and safety of motor vehicles is often a determining factor for the correct fulfillment of the mission.
