Yesterday, the extraordinary control of the territory took place, in the context of the "Terra dei Fuochi" operation, in the provinces of Naples and Caserta, ordered by the Commissioner to combat the phenomenon of fires in the Campania region.
In the field 23 crews, for a total of 65 units belonging to the Campania grouping, at the command of the 21st genius regiment "Guastatori" of the Italian Army, at the police station of Casapesenna and Afragola, at the carabinieri of Casal di Principe and Afragola, at the finance guard of Aversa and Frattamaggiore, to the ROAN GdF of Naples, to the metropolitan police of Naples, to the provincial police of Caserta, to the forestry carabinieri of Pietramelara and Naples as well as to the municipal police of the municipalities of Afragola, Casapesenna and San Cipriano d'Aversa, staff of the Caserta Local Health Authority and Caserta ARPAC.
You control 11 business and commercial activities, of which 4 are sanctioned; 40 identified people, including 11 reported among irregular workers and guilty of environmental offenses; 5 controlled trucks, over 16 thousand 800 euros of penalties imposed, and about 2300 square meters of seized areas. The disputed offenses are the illegal management and disposal of waste and processing waste as well as the abusive exercise of the profession.
In particular, in the municipality of San Cipriano d'Aversa (CE) an area of 1000 square meters was seized, in which over 1000 cubic meters of construction waste were spilled, the owner and two other people were reported for " unauthorized storage and illegal disposal of non-special waste and storage of waste beyond the allowed time limits ".
