The sports discipline of karate complements the physical preparation and completes the individual combat training of the soldiers who are constantly employed in operational activities both nationally and abroad.
The sports demonstration took place in the presence of military and civil authorities, including the commander of the artillery artillery, Brigadier General Cesare Alimenti and the mayor of Sabaudia, dr. Maurizio Lucci as well as a large audience.
The mayor expressed words of appreciation for the sporting initiative, complimenting the general Alimenti for the availability shown in every occasion towards the civil society.
