A new model of the bowsprit flag (or "jack" according to the current naval lexicon) has been established which, as reported by the Royal Decree: the bowsprit flag, which the royal ships must keep hoisted while standing at the anchor, will be square in shape with a vertical white cross on a red field surrounded by blue, ...

This flag will remain in use until the proclamation of the Republic, June 2, 1946.
