lla della Maddalena waters the torpedo boat 128 S spurs by mistake in maneuvering the high-sea torpedo Orione (commander, Lieutenant Dominic Montese) reporting extensive damage but managing to enter the port with its own means while the Orion suffers slight damage.

On 13 May the torpedo boat 128 S will be towed to Spezia by the Verbano transport for the repair works at the local arsenal which will end on 1 July to resume the following 6 service with the Guardia di Finanza.

The 128 S was part of the group of torpedo boats that on 1 September 1908 had been sold to the Guardia di Finanza to operate a customs service in the sea area of Gallura based in La Maddalena. The Orione will be transferred to Naples for the works.
