Modern Pentathlon: Los Angeles World Cup (USA)

On the night of the 29 March Italian time there was the second round of the Modern Pentathlon World Cup in Los Angeles.

Worthy of note is the individual test of the chosen airman Alessandra Frezza, who concludes with 1309 points crossing the finish line in 8a position. This result leads her to second place in the national ranking and gives good hopes for a World Cup final call.

On the following day the most important result arrives for the Aeronautica Militare Sports Center and for the Italian representative where, again the blue Alessandra Frezza, this time in a team with Riccardo De Luca (Carabinieri), wins the gold medal in the mixed relay with the score of 1433.

The progression of the score sees her stop the clock on the seventh time in the first swimming test (2.04,91). In the second phase with their feet firmly planted on the ground, in fencing, the couple scores 250 points plus 2 in the bonus round, thus climbing the rankings with 553 points, followed by China and the United States with 533 points. In the later stages the pair will remain firmly on top building a perfect race.

In equitation he earns 293 points while still remaining in command at the end of the third stage. The final test of laser run confirms the previous results for the Italian couple, decorated with a well-deserved Gold medal. The rest of the podium is occupied by the United States at 1417 points and Mexico at 1393 points.
