The seaside resort of San Benedetto del Tronto hosted the Italian Racing Championships, the final act of the 2019 season of speed roller skating. From the 05 to the 07 September, on the asphalt ring of the “Merlini” track, the best skaters from every corner of Italy challenged each other and among them were the Air Force aircraft.
To inaugurate the program reserved for the senior category were the tests of the 10.000 meters in men's and women's points. The first to take the field were the girls who gave life to a very exciting test that gave the chief airman Francesca Lollobrigida the fiftieth tricolor title of her career. Behind him Linda Rossi and Laura Lorenzato completed the podium. Equally fought was the men's test with airman Daniel Niero who entered the fight for medals by winning the third place.
The show continued on Sunday when the elimination 15.000 meters races concluded the tricolor review. Among the women it was again the chief airman Francesca Lollobrigida who preceded Veronica Luciani and Edda Paluzzi, while the first two steps of the podium were the prerogative of the Air Force with the triumph of the airman Daniel Niero in front of first airman Fabio Francolini was found. Completing the podium was the two-time tricolor Giuseppe Bramante.
