We knew that the athletes of the Paralympic Defense Sports Group (GSPD) were indomitable. We would have imagined this in the third edition of the Invictus Games in Toronto. At the end of the third day of competition there are four medals won: one gold, two silver and one bronze.

The first medal was the silver medal in the cast of weight to the unified categories of Lieutenant Colonel EI Giuseppe Campoccio. And it is Campoccio himself who has conquered, during the second day of competition, the gold in the discus throw. The second silver went instead to the major caporal chosen EI, Pellegrina Caputo, the only woman in this edition of the Games, in throwing weight. On the third day the bronze comes from the senior marshal CC Loreto Di Loreto, in the time trial of the handbike.

Satisfaction and applause were expressed by the Chief of Defense Staff, General Claudio Graziano, who commented as follows: "The brilliant results obtained are proof of how sacrifice, discipline and determination are the fundamental basis for breaking down any limitations and how sport plays a fundamental role. Bravi".
