On Sunday Foligno crowned the Italian half marathon champions. Competing for the tricolor title on the streets of the Umbrian city were athletes from all over Italy including the airmen of the Air Force Sports Center.
The predictions of the eve of the 21,097 kilometers of the men's race were respected, where the Lombard Ahmed El Mazoury won over Cesare Maestri and the chosen aviator Alessandro Giacobazzi who, with the time trial of 1h05'28 ", won the bronze medal in the race absolute but, above all, he became Italian Champion of the Promises category, reconfirming the title won in 2017 in Agropoli.
