Great success for the military Taekwondo athletes of the Army Olympic Sports Centre, at the military world championships which were held from 1 to 3 June 2024, in Mungyeong, South Korea.
The Army reached the podium four times. The grd. Martina Corelli won the gold medal in the 49kg category, the grd. sc. Cristina Gaspa the silver medal in the 62 kg category, the grd. Gabriele Caulo the bronze medal in the 68 kg category and bronze also for the c.le magg. VFP4 Linda Cecchi in the 67 kg category.
The military athletes of the Army sports centre, thanks to the support of highly qualified technicians and cutting-edge training facilities, constantly manage to obtain prestigious sporting results in national and international competitions, raising the colors of Italy and Army.
