The Absolute Italian Wrestling Championships were held in Ostia. The Army, with its men's and women's teams, has achieved a prestigious goal for the Armed Forces, winning seven gold medals in the various weight categories of the competition.
They climbed to the top step of the podium: the grd. sc. Dalma Caneva, the grd. Jacopo Sandron, the chief major Laura Godino, the chief major Aurora Russo, the chief major Simone Piroddu, the c.le magg. Abraham Conyedo and also c.le Raul Caso.
All the athletes mentioned have become Italian Champions in their respective weight categories, standing out for their sporting and athletic abilities and helping to keep the Army colors high in the world of sport.
