Yesterday Corporal Major Alice Mangione, an Army athlete, won an important silver medal in the 4x400 meters relay at the European Indoor Championships of Istanbul.
Le Blue of the relay: Alice Mangione, Ayomide Folorunso (Fiamme Oro), Anna Polinari and Eleonora Marchiando (Carabinieri) reached the prestigious milestone setting a time of 3'28"61 new national record.
Furthermore, in the European final of the 60m hurdles, corporal Lorenzo Simonelli, who finished fourth, established the new Italian Under 23 record in specialty.
